Tacview has been updated. It can now read ACMI files from F4 and F4AF.
Tacview was originally developed for LOMAC and a good tool it is too for reviewing your flight.
Tacview is here:
Now, you need to use a convertor for the F4 VHS files. You can get it on this French site – VHS2txt:
It uses JAVA to convert the files. The first link is using JAVA from the site. The second link allows you to download the JAR file (I think).
Point the various options to your flavour of Falcon and where to save the converted file and run it to create a file that can be opened by Tacview. It worked for me in RV – haven’t tried AF. However the detail compared to that of LOMAC is not the same and you might need to careful in reviewing campaign ACMI files due to the large number of units. But the threat ‘bubbles’ for SAMS, etc. are cool!
